2018 favourite reads

Its the first day to a new year, fresh start to reading, challenges and attitude.

I thought I’d share some of my favourite reads from 2018

I read Frozen Charlotte the beginning of 2017 and loved it. It was creepy and freaked me out big time. It was no brainer i had to read Charlotte Says.

I really enjoyed Alex Bell’s writing and after reading Charlotte Says automatically brought The Haunting. I recommend this book for anyone wanting to read a light horror book.

As The Haunting was about witches I was in the mood for a good book about witches. I picked up The Wicked Deep (okay mainly for the cover) and was pleasantly surprised. It could be repetitive but overall and fun little read about ghosts and witches.

I received The Hazel Wood in a Fairyloot box. I buddy read this book and we both had mixed feelings about this book. I read this quickly until the end where I felt the book took a very quick pace. Still, it was still 5 stars for me.

The Cruel Prince I also received in Fairyloots box. I’m not nornally a fan of fae stories but wow I couldn’t get enough of this book. I’m waiting patiently for Jan 8th to get the sequel.

I love Amanda Foody’s writing in A Daughter of a Burning City and didn’t think twice to pick up Ace of Shades. I’m glad I picked it up. I still think about the story now.

Legendary, nothing to say here. I love Caraval and I love Legendary. Simple.

Six of Crows has been on my shelf for a while now and I don’t know why it took me so long to start it. Its brilliant, I highly recommend it if you enjoyed the Grisha Universe.

So there we have it, my favourite books from 2018. Are any of yours on this list? What was your favourite from 2018?
